Several Helicopter routes intersected over Heathrow where they could be visually monitored by the Tower. Here a Jet Ranger holds between T2 and Runway 10R while a smoky Delta DC-8-33 climbs away operating a 'through plane' joint service with PanAm from whom Delta acquired this aircraft (ex N814PA).
