Original serial number 44-63872, used by the RCAF then changed hands a number of times, until it was bought by Tom J. Kutchinsky of Milwuakee in 1969. Kutchinsky raced it as #18 until he was killed in this aircraft when it crashed at Harlingen, Texas just two weeks after this photo was taken.
