Taken on Agfa Colour and not too good, however it shows the "new" B.E.A. colour scheme of the period - I think the Vanguard was much under rated aircraft and unable to prove itself as a good passenger aircraft. Certainly served B.E.A. well during the 1960's. Typical photograph taken from the "Queens Building" with junk around the aircraft, why didn't we all wait until it moved?
