Photo via Steve Harris. Taken in the late 1930s in Middle East, probably at RAF Hinaidi, Iraq whilst staging through to Indochina. (Note Victoria/Valentia in background, large MU type hangar and RAF tradesmen standing around.). The French serial numbers were one letter + three digits. Options we have are c/n 124 serial X-198, c/n 169 serial X-298, c/n 242 serial X-498, c/n 257 serial X-598.
