Air Ceylon leased this Electra from KLM for a year from November 1960 for a weekly service Amsterdam London Rome Cairo Bahrain Karachi Bombay Colombo (and on to Singapore). Out Wednesday, back Sunday. This and all KLM passenger services transferred to the Central Area of Heathrow in March 1961. View across Northside tarmac to Pan Am hangar in haze.
